Eurofeeders (formerly Bugsier Line) has been operating feeder services from the U.K. and Continent to Ireland for over 20 years.

It has well established feeder links comprising two sailings per week from Dublin and Belfast to Southampton, Thamesport, Tilbury and Felixstowe in the U.K. as well as weekly connections with Rotterdam and Le Havre.

Eurofeeders is the only 'pure' feeder operator plying the Irish Sea and consequently considers bookings from its feeder clients as priority cargo rather than top-up.

Although Eurofeeders has extensive feeder links within its Channel Service, the Irish Sea remains an extremely important part of its network and the vessels operating this route - the Celtic King and Celtic Monarch - have been chosen for their strength, reliability and experience of ship's command.

Both Eire and Northern Ireland are experiencing trade booms and the peace process has undoubtedly done a great deal for the development of trade in the province.

Eurofeeders commenced a weekly liner - feeder connection in March 200 ex / to Bilbao to Le Havre, Rotterdam and Felixstowe utilising the 380 teus 16knt mc Connemara. According to the managing director, support has been strong and new feeder contracts are still being signed up.
Additional Eurofeeders ad-hoc charters have also been deployed into te area since the link was established for spot cargoes.

Such is the interest by the ICG group in the Iberian market that sister company Eucon, which already operates an extensive range of European door-to-door services, commenced a comprehensive door-to-door service between Northern Spain and North European ports on August 1.

Eucon will have a guaranteed space allocation on the Connemara ex / to the north continent thence transhipping via own vessels to connect Ireland and utilising third sister company Feederlink vessels for the northeast UK.

Eurofeeders views the feeder market to Ireland within considerable optimism and looks forward to a further 20 years servicing the trade.
